For eight weeks, he explores every corner of the international drug trade. He interviews drug criminals in Ecuador and Colombia, but also rides along with the Belgian police. It's a constant chase after kingpins in the drug world, who still too often slip through the cracks. Because the drug problem is – unfortunately – no longer a distant issue. Exploding grenades in residential areas, shootings in squares among playing children… How did it come to this in a country like Belgium? Are we really heading towards a narco-state? The series provides a serious wake-up call and exposes how complex, dangerous, and dehumanizing the circuit behind a single line of cocaine truly is.
