En 1960, le célèbre cinéaste James Ivory s'est rendu en Afghanistan pour tourner des séquences destinées à un documentaire qui n'a jamais vu le jour. En 2022, il a décidé de revisiter ces images uniques, qui le replongent dans sa jeunesse pleine d'aventures.
