Shoemaker Číč is a skilled craftsman, but a great mischievous and riddle-teller. Such that he tricks not only the king, but also Lucifer himself. He earns fame and wealth by doing so, but he hurts his poor neighbor Karafiátek. But still, a bad conscience begins to gnaw at him. He returns to hell and this time his own fate is at stake.
